L’histoire de la bombe atomique à travers ses représentations, ce qu’elle devient au travers du regard de ce jeune homme, ce qu’elle convoque dans notre imaginaire.
We will not even catch a glimpse of Keiji Nakazawa’s manga Barefoot Gen. A voice-over tells us the story told in this movie. This is the voice of a young Japanese boy wandering in the mountains not far from Hiroshima, sixty years after. This is the story of the H Bomb through the way it has been depicted, through this young man’s gaze, through how it has affected our fantasies.
